Faithfully Feminist
"Why do you stay?" It is a common question women are asked in relation to their faith, especially women who claim a feminist identity, membership in a particular religious tradition, and practice their faith in spite of gendered challenges. Join us for a special evening with Jennifer Zobair, Amy Levin, and Gina Messina-Dysert, the editors of the book, Faithfully Feminist: Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Feminists on Why We Stay. They will discuss the book and their own individual faith journeys and will be joined in conversation by several Jewish, Christian, and Muslim feminists whose essays are featured in the book. For more on the book visit www.faithfullyfeminist.com. Co-sponsored by the Interfaith Center of New York, The Milstein Center for Interreligious Dialogue at JTS, Union Theological Seminary, and the Muslim Community Network.
