Our after-school counselors pick up children from many schools on the UWS and from bus stops within a block of the JCC and escort them to our After School Clubhouse, which is open from 2:30–5:30 pm. Children will enjoy creative play, art explorations, snacks, and homework help. Children can also join Clubhouse without our pick-up service.
Art and cooking classes at the JCC are designed to encourage creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning through various forms of artistic expression and culinary activities. These classes provide a fun and engaging way for children to express themselves, learn new skills, and develop creativity.

Being a new parent can be overwhelming, so we offer convenient one off classes that fit your and your baby’s schedule and provide a welcoming and supportive environment for you and your little one to bond, socialize, and learn together. We offer a variety of classes led by experienced instructors who are passionate about helping you and your child thrive.
In these first classroom experiences, young children will begin their love of learning through exploration, growth, and discovery in a warm and nurturing environment while developing essential skills such as socialization, language development, and basic academic concepts in either a caregiver-supported or drop-off setting.
Through experiential Jewish education alternatives like Havurah and Off-The-Bimah, Shabbat Sing, and holiday celebrations, the JCC helps foster individual identity development and communal connections. We are honored to be a part of your family’s Jewish journey at every age and every stage.
Whether you're adjusting to becoming a new parent or developing a relationship with your adolescent, JCC support groups, classes, workshops, and events offer valuable insights while helping to build meaningful relationships with other parents in the community.
Sports programs at the JCC provide a welcoming environment for children to learn new skills, build confidence, and understand the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship! Our experienced coaches and instructors are passionate about teaching the fundamentals of each sport while using age-appropriate equipment and techniques.
Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) classes for kids are designed to provide hands-on learning experiences that help children explore and understand the world around them. These classes typically involve activities and projects that engage children in problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity.
The JCC Swim School is designed to cater to children of all ages and abilities. The Aquatics team is also specially trained to integrate a social/emotional lens into children's instruction and provide a warm, personalized experience that empowers our swimmers to become brave and strong in the water, fostering a lifelong love of aquatics for years to come.
Theater @ the JCC is the perfect opportunity for aspiring young actors, singers, and dancers to cultivate their stage presence and performance abilities. The program will culminate in an exciting live performance, where your child can showcase the skills they've acquired and perform in front of a supportive audience.
