In Person. Extend your child’s Friday at the J with our exciting Havurah program that blends art-making, storytelling, and theater with Jewish culture and traditions. Children will explore Torah stories, Jewish holidays, and values through creative projects that include both visual arts and performance. Through tactile exploration of materials and theatrical improvisation, children will co-create scenes, craft personalized books, and build artistic projects inspired by Jewish stories. The program will include immersive family experiences, such as showcases at the Books That Changed My Life Festival and a Kabbalat Shabbat performance. This new program encourages self-expression and celebrates Jewish identity in fun and imaginative ways.
