The Memory Project - Section 1
In Person. In this initiative for individuals with early memory loss and their families, caregivers participate in a support group to increase their coping skills. At the same time, their partners enjoy an engaging recreational program.
Caregiver Community: Led by experienced social workers, this gathering is dedicated to sharing experiences, enhancing coping skills, and providing crucial information on community resources for caregivers of individuals experiencing cognitive decline.
Participant Community: Tailored for individuals facing mild to moderate memory loss, our movement-led sessions encompass music, dance, art, and collaborative cognitive activities.

Linda was a professional dancer/singer/actress who worked on Broadway and Off-Broadway and in many other theatrical venues. For the last 10 years, she has been bringing the arts to those living with memory loss. Through her experience as a caregiver, she has created many types of workshops that engage, stimulate, and bring joy to this community. Linda is certified as a TimeSlips teacher and has extensive training in Dance Movement Therapy. She facilitates workshops for Lincoln Center Moments, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 305 West End Assisted Living, Renewal Memory Partners, The Bristal, and others.
12 pm music session Stay for an extra hour of program with our music therapy sessions with a focus on singing, awareness and socialization through familiar songs and movement experiences with both participants and caregivers.
